Online Entrepreneur, Do You Use This Tip To Rank High In Google?

This article is from the archives. Attachment issues much? A little, maybe. But no, the article is still useful. It’s also a testament to growth, looking at recent work. Spot something off? Please leave a comment.

Thank you so much, you patient child of God, you.

This piece is late because I attended a Sacrament of Holy Orders ceremony.

Yep, I occasionally hang out with the priestly kind, but this isn’t the point.

I’ll try to be more consistent.

Today, you discover how to save money on your SEO budget.

Curious much? Excellente.

Forget SEO.

Yes, forget all about SEO. That’s the tip.

Because:

  • SEO is boring, technical work, right?
  • Isn’t SEO intimidating? I mean, you have to learn lots.
  • With tight schedules, who has time for SEO anyway? Me, apparently.
  • Social sharing is better and faster.
  • Creative content has great benefits no matter the industry.
  • SEO is automatic when you create strong content.

Yes, you really don’t have to do SEO.

This is how this works.

Stick to these tips, or this idea will fail. Hehe…white lie. It never fails.

Step A: Create Creative Content

I am a huge fan of free writing.

A friend calls it “kicking SEO to the curb,” and it’s great.

Here is what this looks like.

When you let words loose, they steady and run. Or speed down a runway like a Boeing 747.

Then they fly, and like butterflies, more eyes see them.

Words should roam and be free.

Because a roaming word is a twofold solution.

But first, you want to start every conversation with some emotion.

Secondly, establish a connection with your prospective clients to build rapport.

What type of word is a twofold solution? A roaming word.

Yes, creative and relevant content is great to share when shown to the right target audience.

If you’re still wet behind the ears, this means engaging content that initiates a connection and draws more eyeballs.

That’s right. You must create effective content if you’re to forget all about SEO.

How else will people find your website if people don’t share your content because it’s so good?

I will wait.

Okay. That’s that.

Creative also means helpful, which leads us to our next point.

Step B: Create Valuable Content

Sonia says it best in a super-powerful 20-part series that you might love. The Ultimate Web Content Style Guide is arguably a good example, too.

Surely, even if you sell space rocks, technical CRMs, or WordPress themes, you must have a useful tip or trick up your sleeve.

Share tips and help readers (read: prospective clients) long before they show you their wallets.

In other words, create valuable content.

Valuable content attracts backlinks, citations, mentions, likes, shares, retweets, and whatnot.

And that’s another little something for your “forget SEO” campaign.

Step C: Learn Your Keywords

But why? Are we done forgetting SEO already?

Nope. It is just learning.

So, study your keywords. And your competitor’s keywords. And note the gaps they miss.

It’s easy stuff; the kids in The Goonies would laugh at you if you stumbled.

But how?

Use any keyword research tool at your disposal or hire my Google keyword research expertise.

No kidding, hire me to save money and time.

Finding the keywords your web visitors use is 90% research and 10% SEO.

In fact, you deserve a trophy if you already do it.

Learn all about your keywords and related terms. You never know, you might uncover amazing content ideas while at it.

After learning your keywords, commit them to memory.

You are about to be the best SEO writer without “doing” any SEO.

Then write away, sowing keywords throughout the content as you go.

It is not complicated.

You’ll have naturally flowing and keyword-rich content with this approach. Every single time. Guaranteed.

Then edit and proofread your content, and ensure the keywords don’t hurt to read.

Don’t overdo it, or Google will hang you out to dry for keyword stuffing.

What? I’ve seen writers force keywords into every other sentence; it can fry your brain.

You know, something like this apt example by the folk at Google:

Unlimited app store credit. There are so many sites that claim to offer app store credit for $0, but they’re all fake and always mess up with users looking for unlimited app store credits. You can get limitless credits for the App Store right here on this website. Visit our unlimited app store credit page and get it today!”

Keyword stuffing is shameful. It was a thing back in the day, but it’s against Google spam policies.

There you go. You’re now the best SEO writer for your website without “doing” any SEO.

Eddy’s Note:

This tip also works in a dark room with a tiny window near the ceiling. This one-of-a-kind room should face East, have a table with handcuffs, and…please stop. If writing is not your thing, like our beloved Eddy here, I recommend these content solutions.

See you around.

PS: By space rocks, I mean asteroids or meteorites, not what you think, Snoop Dogg 🙂

Please share and spread the love
